US Army Communications

Who:
The US Army Communications-Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center (CERDEC)
Where:
Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) campus, Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland.
What:
On April 30, 2015, Bike Track received a call from the Ground Station Interface Facility (GSIF) Operations Manager at the Intelligence & Information Warfare Directorate (I2WD) at APG. The facility needed flooring for use in an interior room. Their current flooring had failed due to high static electricity issues, which were threatening some very high value electronics. They needed a new flooring solution, and they needed it quickly.
Solution:

Bike Track quickly assessed the Center's needs and objectives and recommended our 2" ICM flooring due to its durability, quick assembly, and in-floor cable management system.

On the morning of May 12, Bike Track received the order for flooring and ramps from Booz-Allen Hamilton. By the following day, May 13, the order had been processed, packed, shipped via overnight express, delivered, and installed at APG, eliminating the Center's static electricity issues. Since then, no static issues have been reported.
